Can I make a sniffer box out of an IAP 215?

Is it possible to configure an IAP 215 to "be" a mobile snifferbox?

If you have an RF Protect license, you can monitor spectrum/radio information.

Sounds like you are trying to capture wireless traffic?

Get a Linux box and a card that supports monitor mode.

You can with an IAP-215, yes.  It does not require a license.

Instructions are here:  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-less-WLANs/How-to-IAP-wireless-packet-capture/ta-p/205035

Setting up Wireshark is here:  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-less-WLANs/How-to-configure-wireshark-to-receive-packet-capture-from/ta-p/180448
