Cant see wired user(303H,205h) on my VMC Controller 8.2

    Hello friends, is there any visibility for this type of users ?

     

    I can't see them on my controller, no matter what port they are connected(e1,e2,e3).

    You would have to make the port "untrusted" to see them in the user table.  Configuration> AP Groups> Profiles> AP > Ethernet Interface 1 port configuration.  Under General, make sure the Trusted box is unchecked:

    After that, you need to go to Configuration> AP Groups> Profiles> AP > Ethernet Interface 1 port configuration> AAA.  You then need to select a AAA profile, because when your port is untrusted, it now becomes subject to some sort of authentication (hence the AAA profile).  Choose a AAA profile that has an initial role of authenticated, otherwise your traffic will be stopped based on whatever is in that initial role:

    Ok. But, I how can view the user in the GUI interface. What colluns need actived.

     

    By command "show user" in the CLI is Ok:

    (ArubaMC-VA) [mynode] #show user
    This operation can take a while depending on number of users. Please be patient ....

    If the user did not authenticate on the wired network, there will be no username, just an ip address and a mac address

     

    Edit, if the user shows up on the CLI, it should show up in the GUI, as well.
