    Hi all, 

     

    I have a W-3200 controller with version 6.3.1.10, and all windows clients fail at changing SSIDs.

     

    I have two SSIDs, corporate and guest. As corporate has very limited internet access, some managers connect to guest when they want full internet access. The problem is that when they to do that the client fails to associate with the SSID.

     

    This does not happen with win 7 clients, and the authentication is WPA2-Personal

     

    Has anyone seem this problem?

    Can you pist your SSID profiles for both SSIDs?

    Hey, are your drivers up to date on the 8.1 devices?

     

    Also were the systems 8.1 to begin with or did you do an "upgrade" install. If it was an "upgrade" type install then the drivers need to be reinstalled

    Hi, thanks for the replies.

     

    Yes drivers are latest. 

    So there are two types of system, laptops and tablets.

    Also differente types of laptopts ( Dell, Sony and LG ).

     

    This really makes me think is not really something with the controller or any specific driver. But with windows 8.

    But i dont know if this happens in other implementations.

    Can you turn on debugging for that user?

     

    config t
logging level debugging user-debug <mac address of user>

     Try to switch SSIDs and then post the output of "show log user-debug all | include <mac address of user>
