Hi Gurus,

 

Need your assistance in integration between Clearpass and Niomatrix.

 

where should i add in the detail to see clearpass can forward the username and IP address details for the Niomatrix server

How does Nomadix accept the info?
REST API? RADIUS accounting?

That's the issue..how do we verify how it pass the info to niometric..I'm trying to use radius proxy accounting see that works or not.

The info required to be passed to niometric is username and ip address

You’d need to ask them what information they are expecting and through what interface. “Niometric” doesn’t even come up in a Google search for me.

Maybe you have any experience with similar products. I tried to use the fortinet technote...not sure it's gonna work or not cause I use the radius accounting proxy approach. Initially their vendor said just configure snmp traps but I don't think by configuring snmp trap will pass the username and ip address to their server right

Unfortunately they are all different. Please reach out to your contact there and ask if they support REST API or RADIUS accounting-based identity updates.

they themselves didnt now how their server accept theinformation. they have been asking whether by using syslog will send the username to their server. 

 

can syslog pass username information to their server?
