We have been given MedFusion 4000 to give access to the wireless. I was able to get it to connect to the SSID.  The device display shows that it is associated to the wireless and gives the signal strength. It does not get an IP from the DHCP server. I go to the controller I see it connected but no IP. I checked the event log on the DHCP server, nothing about the device. I check a laptop to the same SSID with all the settings. It connects and gets an IP address.

I cannot get the information about the wireless NIC, only that it is 802.11 b/g.

Are you using encryption?   What type? Has this device worked before?  Did you turn on debugging for that user?  config t  logging level debug user-debug <mac address>

    show log user-debug all

Department found out that we did not purchase the server that allows the devices to join wireless.
