    Good one

I have one doubt about HA environment, is there any way to put stand-alone controllers on Cluster deployment? When I say cluster, it is hot and stand-by for everything, not only for master or local, and just using 2 controllers...

    tks

would a master/backup master configuration serve your needs?

    Joseph

when you say "master/backup master configuration", could you send me a link about this?  I understand that only a master controller will be in HA, and what about the local or remote APs that register on local controllers, how this will be handle in a HA environment?

    tks buddy!

Take a look at this VRD:

    http://www.arubanetworks.com/wp-content/uploads/VRD_Aruba-Mobility-Controllers_8.pdf

Also take a look at this site for all the VRDs (design guides/reference materials).  These are good info for  understanding the Aruba products.

What Colin referred to is master-backup, where there is a pair of controllers, but only 1 of the controllers will terminate WAPs.  The other will get a copy of the configuration and will not terminate WAPs unless there is a failure of the primary controller.
