Has there been any update to the number of controllers allowed in a cluster with connected RAPs? Are we still at 4 max in 8.x code? Thanks!

What would be your use-case for large RAP clusters? For RAP, your controllers typically need to be reachable over the internet, so you will need a public IP for each of them, and as RAP typically has single AP sites, you could easily create multiple clusters to do the horizontally scaling.

I did not hear that ask before.

We don't have enough RAPs to justify 1 or 2 controllers dedicated to   RAPS. Controller licenses and support are expensive. Public IP space is not a problem. It's better in our case to have a larger cluster size and keep RAPs on same controllers.
