Controller Vlan Operation State down

    I just installed 6 new VLANS on my 7220 controller. The VLAN status is "ADMIN UP" "OPERATIONAL STATE DOWN". How do I turn up the operational state?

    They would either:

     

    (1) Need to be attached to a physical interface that is up or:

    (2) have a user in that vlan.

     

    Alternatively you can do this:

     

    config t

    interface vlan x

    operstate up

    I have a similar isssue but in my case i have the controller managed by a mobility master hence i will not be able to make any changes, so how do i proceed in this case to enable the oper status Up
