    Hi,

I am adding new APs, I have 72xx controller. Two days ago  I added 12 new APs and everything works find. Today I am trying to add new 10 AP but for some reason the controller can't see them!!!! Some useful infromation:

1- The ap get a DHCP address and find the master controller.

2- There is no problem with the switching, I am using the same switch that I used two days ago.

3- I did checked out plan security and it was disabled.

    and thoughts would be appreciated.

Are you trying to add the same type of APs ?

Can you ping the controller from the AP Console ?

    Get Outlook for iOS

Don't forget to also check that the firmware running on your controller is also supported by the new AP's.

APs are the same type. I can ping the controller from the AP.

Type "show log system 50" to see if you can see what the problem is.

Type "show ap database" to see if those new APs have flags..

    Hi,

I deployed Aruba tons of times and this is not my first time, but never had such an issue. For some reason the 335 AP act up each once in a while, I notice that for the third time in a row. I didn't change anything and after 3 days the APs came up. There is no logically exploration for that, but anyway, those APs are up an running now without any change from my side.

What discovery method are the access points using to find the controller?

    Hi,

We are using option 43 and optoin 60. That being siad, the contorller and the APs are in the same Vlan, so adp should be good also. just like what I said, 15 AP came up without an issue eariler.

Do you have enough licenses ?

VIA the AP console can you see that the AP is discovering the controller ?

Do you have CPSec enabled ?
