    Hi all,

     

    We are having a problem with the association between Clearpass Captive Portal and Aruba 7205 Controller.

    We have followed a Guest Guide from one of your courses, we have created a new web-login page and the Guest Access service on Policy Manager.

    Controller is added on clearpass on the Network Devices section and on the other side, Clearpass is added as Radius Server.

     

    An guest SSID was created with the name: Invitados_ENP. During the creation wizard it was selected as Guest wlan with captive portal using credentials, on the next step we got this: Capturawlan.PNG

    As you can see the "Enable Captive Portal" option can't be unchecked, so, we supossed that could be changed later going to Security, Authentication and then to L3. We did that, and here you can see: Capturawlan11.PNG

    After that we applied changes and when we connect to the ssid it opens the browser and redirect us to the url but the browser says that the page isn't redirecting correctly and also that: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    When you first associate to the SSID, without opening a browser your client ends up in a ******_logon role.  Edit that role and make sure there is an acl allowing http and https traffic from any to the ip address of the clearpass server.
