Correct PoE injector for 205

    What is the correct Watts, Volts and Amp injector needed for the 205?

    I have a 55V 0.6A that our supplier gave us with the 205, it works but the 205 unit gets extremly hot.

    Hey, according to the AP205 datasheet Aruba recommends the following POE injector.

     

    JW627A : PD-3501G-AC 15.4W 802.3af PoE 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet Midspan Injector

    Which one are you using?

    If you are using a POE injector, it MUST be certified and rated for 802.3af/at. If you are using a power supply (power conenctor, not in-line with ethernet) then it should not be used on that AP.
