Could the 7005 controller works in a stand alone mode for a small office environment?

    Dear collegs, i've heard some where tha 7005 controller could works only as a local. Can you told me, could this device works as a master controller for a small deployment.

    Hi Friend,

     

    Absolutely possible. you can deploy any Aruba controller as standalone and can configure the wireless.

    only hardware limit is matters, A7005 is limited to max 16 APs and 1024 users.

    The 7000 series controllers should not be deployed as masters for other controllers. 

    For example: 
    7005 master, 7210 local: not supported
    7005 master standalone: supported
    7005 master, 7005 master-backup: supported
