Hi all, I was wondering if someone can point me in the direction of documentation that shows how to convert an AP-135 from an AP to a Remote AP.

We have a site that has poor wireless coverage, and thought a good way to solve it for them is to covert the 135 in to a remote ap if possible (whitepapers mentions it). We have other RAP-3WNPs, but they are currently deployed elsewhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This document gives step-by-step instructions on how to use an AP as a RAP.

    In short......

Assuming you already have your RAP groups and profiles set.

    1. Add the MAC to your RAP whitelist and choose the appropriate AP Group
    2. Provision the AP-135 like you normally would
    3. Select Remote AP=Yes
    4. Remote AP Authentication Method=Certificate
    5. Master Discovery, Master Controller IP/DNS Name=your RAP provisioning IP/Name
    6. Apply Reboot
