One user neglected to reserve the IP address of the default gateway in their DHCP scope, so a user would her the IP address of the default gateway and knock everyone off.

Let me know how you get on if you have upgraded to 8.3.0.5

 

Are you seeing users drop connection periodically ? A lot of our users are on MacBooks also

Checked this out however the first five addresses in each of our scopes are always reserved to make sure this doesn't happen.

The upgrade to 8.3.0.5 went well, as expected.

MacBook users haven't had an issue since the upgrade... but I'm not ready to say "it fixed it".
