    Hello, i would like to ask the difference between controller dashboard monitoring and monitoring via airwaves.

     

    Lets just say I have 1 controller with a few APs. What could airwave better than just dashboard monitoring?

    The general benefit of Airwave is mainly historical recording of information.  the controller dashboard typically would contain up to 20 minutes of information.  Airwave would generally be limited by the harddrive space.

     

    Airwave also presents many different ways of representing this historical information in reports, diagrams and will allow you to correlate it in ways that is not possible on the controller dashboard.
