Hi, we're planning on deploying some chromeboxes, connected to HD monitors, to act as digital signage. The chromeboxes will be connecting to the network via wireless. I want to make sure that these chromeboxes dont timeout on the wireless controller. What are my options?

    802.1X, PSK, or open?

    Thanks,

It's open. We use network access controller, similar to clearpass, to authenticate users.

So do you have MAC-auth enabled and the device is registered in ClearPass? If so, the device should just reauthenticate normally when needed.

    Thanks,

We are not using clearpass. We have a different MAC-authentication service. I'm just trying to figure out if Aruba kills an active session after a certain amount of time. And if so, I want to disable it for these digital signage boxes.

It shouldn't kill an active session, no.

    Thanks,
