    Hi,

Can Aruba access points be configured to operate in repeater mode?

And what is the acronym for WDS? Is it synonymous to repeater mode?

I am concerned on 270 series of APs and running code 6.5.0.2

Hey, Aruba AP's can be configured a Mesh Portal or Mesh Point.

    For example : https://community.arubanetworks.com/aruba/attachments/aruba/ForoenEspanol/253/1/Aruba%20Mesh%20Network%20Setup-v1.pdf

If i use JX945A unit is that can use for wi-fi extender to create a wi-fi mass network.

    My requirement is ,

The Wi-Fi repeater will extend my Wi-Fi network  coverage area, receiving the existing Wi-Fi signal, amplifying it and then retransmitting the boosted signal.

Please advise,  the suitable brand and model.

You can configure Mesh to extend the signal.

    https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/Instant_85_WebHelp/Content/instant-ug/mesh-network/overview.htm?Highlight=mesh

EDIT:  To be clear, you cannot re-broadcast the signal of a different network with this setup.  You can only extend your own network that is configured.
