Dual 5Ghz experience on AP345

Hi all

Just reaching out to the community on their experience with the dual 5GHz feature, particularly with the AP345.

Our customer has deployed this in the field and the "Dual 5Ghz" feature is enabled as “auto” by default on version 8.3.0.7

Our experience to date is that a higher number of AP's chose to have dual 5Ghz feature than we expected.

This has lead to sub-optimal coverage on the 2.4Ghz frequency.

We have an active ticket open with support, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced good or bad results with the feature?

YES!  Had this experience as well.  Originally it was horrible and there was a bug ID.  That has been resolved, but even after the fact I noticed it was still leaving some 2.4 coverage gaps.  I would open a TAC case and see if you could get some traction.

Yes I saw the bug ID in earlier versions.
We have an active ticket with Aruba open so they are working on it so hopefully we will see an improvement.
Just glad to hear we weren't the only one experiencing the issue.
Currently we have the feature switched off on the site in question.
