Dynamic or static IP for APs in controller

    Hi guys,

     

    Just a quick question. I have a customer with a controller and many APs, each one with its corresponding IP. How can I know from the controller if these AP IPs were obtain by DHCP or if they were statically configured?

    You would have to type "

    show ap provisioning ap-name <name of ap>

    Hi Colin,

     

    I have tried this command, the difference I see is

    • When the AP IP is static the items Netmask and IP Addr show the values
    • When the AP IP is dynamic the items Netmask and IP Addr show N/A

    Is this correct?
