EAP-TLS in VIA

    Hi all.

     

    I have a couple of questions about using EAP-TLS with Aruba VIA.

    Can I use EAP-TLS (or user-cert) as authentication for profile download (VIA Web Authentication)?

    Also, will the VIA client check personal certificates for both user and machine, or just for user?

    - No, you cannot use certificates for the basis of web authentication profiles.   

    - VIA will only look for user-based certificates during authentication; not machine-based.

    Too bad that the VIA client cannot use Machine-based certificates.
