    Hi:

I'm trying to downgrade a 7210 controller from 6.4.x to 6.3.x, so that I can join it to my existing cluster of controllers. (will upgrade all to 6.4.x, once the 3400's are retired).

But when I use the GUI to upload the new image, the image file appears to upload, but then I get the message:

Error determining new default boot partition version.

And that's all. nothing else happens. This message occurs regardless of which partition I try to use.

    Ideas?

    Thanks,

    Tony

For each download there is an MD5 checksum. Use MD5 sum to make sure your download is not corrupted.

For some reason the GUI just couldn't bear the thought of downgrading.

The CLI, however, was not so afraid of the past, and the upgrade worked fine with the copy command.

    Thanks,

    Tony

I'm having this issue as well, but I'm upgrading code from 6.4.2.5 to 6.4.2.13

    Dmoney,

Please try upgrading/downgrading on the commandline or open a case with TAC.

Thanks Guru Elite!  Uploading the code from the CLI worked great!  Is the GUI experiencing some kind of bug?

    Thanks again Dmoney!
