Evaluation and permanent licenses

    Hi community,

     

    We are currently in a situation in which we are having to use evaluation licenses as we work through a licenses transfer request with Aruba. Whilst the process itself is fine, I have a query regarding the application of the permanent licenses. The evaluation licenses we are installing are AP, PEFNg and RFProtect. My question is this, when we apply the permanent license, do we need to reboot the controller? My understanding from the reading I have done in various forums is that we don't, but I would like confirmation from somebody who has done this themselves. I don't have any test kit and permanent licenses at the moment to trial this myself.

    No, you don't. You only need to reboot when you a new feature license.
