Export, import selective user role & policies from controller

    Hi,

     

    We have Aruba 3200XM controller & now we are going to migrate with new 7210 controller.

    Can we export customize user role, policy & user derivation rule from my old controller to import the same in new 7210 controller.

    There is no export command, but you can cut/paste the relevant profile information into the new controller through the CLI (assuming any dependencies are also copied).

     

    If you only need to copy a small handful of profiles, manually doing so should not be too difficult.  However, you can import the entire configuration file from the 3200 into the 7210; keeping in mind you'll need to make some modifications due to the interface naming changes.
