Failed to Provision Mesh Point

    I have configured  mesh setup.I managed to provision 1 AP-175 as Mesh Portal but when provision another AP-175 as Mesh Point, that AP stated down and getting ‘’asap_vap_gone:Got vap gone notification on unknown vap:0:0” and “asap_vap_gone:Got vap gone notification on unknown vap:0:1” error at AP console. When I use back this AP and provision it as normal AP and Mesh Portal that AP manage to provision and UP

    Do you already have a mesh configuration in that ap-group?  Those messages on the console, by themselves, are inconclusive..

    Are you powering up the mesh point on the same L2 switch as the mesh portal? If so, you cannot do that as it will create a loop. Also, those messages are innocuous.
