    Folks,

We are looking to get an Aruba IAP-225 hooked up to a Cisco switch 3650 switch and then configure a Port channel. This port channel needs to pass 3 VLANs, i.e. mgmt, employee and guest.

However, when we configure trunk on the Cisco switch the ports go in suspended mode. Is there any PoE requirement for getting all configuration done on the IAP-225? The Cisco switch supports upto 15.4 W of power to support such devices.

Where else could I be going wrong to get this configuration done?

    Thanks,

    N.

for both ports on the 225 you need PoE+

can you show the config of the individual ports and the channel?   did you add the trunking commands to the PO or to the individual ports?  need to make sure that the AP is configured to have the vlans on it as well, needs to be configed the same on both ends of the port channel.
