Wireless Access

I have multiple Aruba controllers that i need to check if they have Guest wireless Networks I tried checking  SSID's but some do not show if it is public.. is there an easy way to get this information??

Assuming your guest WLAN is open and your internal network has security, you can look at the SSID profiles to tell which is an open network and which isn't. 

Configuration > Advanced Services > All Profiles

Expand Wireless LAN then click on SSID Profiles.  Click on each profile to see what the 802.11 security is.

That is the best way that I can think of...

I tried doing it this way..I can log to all master controller if i need to.. Is there any way you know how to do it through SSH?? and if so what would we look for?? im assuming the command would be running-configuration?  Thanks for the quick response on this..

see the response after mine, much easier via CLI "show ap essid"

im typing in show ap essid from the master but its comming back with num ESSID (0) but there should be alot of SSID's on this controller.

If the master does not have any APs broadcasting wireless, it will not return anything.  Try it on the local controller, instead.

one more thing .... im going through and some of these are showing open but knowing SSID are not showing up im guessing this command doesn't show hidding SSID's? and this is showing all SSID's not just Wireless networks used by Guests is there anything else you can think of trying???

It only shows SSIDs broadcast by APs on that controller.  It will show hidden SSIDs, as well.

If you type "show ap essid" on the commandline, it will show what wireless networks are open and which ones are encrypted.
