HA: Fast Failover nuances

    I configured fast failover on two of my controllers recently and noticed the following behavior:

     

    I setup fast failover in dual modeo on both controllers.  Once I did this, all APs terminating on controller one are showing as down in Airwave on controller two and visa versa.

     

    I have a NMS that does SNMP polling to OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.2.2.1.1.3.1.0 to show the number of APs on a controller.  Once Fast Failover is turned on this OID is now returning the number of APs = controller 1 + controller 2.

     

    Are these two situations normal/expected behavior with fast failover or is this a bug?
