I have my controllers set up using HA Role DUAL -  acording to the documentation half the clients should connect to each contoller, however when i look on my controllers all clients are associated to one controller.

Am i reading outdated documentation? I'm running 6.4.3

Dual means that controllers can be active for standby. It does not mean load balancing.

Although configured as dual, It looks more like its doing a active/standby config, althought the docs say each should be terminating 1/2 the clients?

The distribution of the APs depends on the LMS IP configured on the AP-Sys profile/AP-GROUP .
