Heartbeat DSCP

    Hi Friends,

     

    Being  a learner of Aruba networks, i am confused and not abe to understand the following, even though i have gone throgh with OS guide as well

     

    What does this funtion of  "Heartbeat DSCP"  in AP system profile. and how does it relate with bootstrap-threshold

    If you have QOS on your wired network, heartbeat DSCP allows the access point to tag the heartbeat packets with your QOS marking so that they would be prioritized on the wired network.  The vast majority of people do not use this.  It would really be useful for congested wired networks.  It is completely separate from the bootstrap threshold in terms of functionality.

    I believe it will allow you to prioritize the AP heartbeat using DSCP " IP header for packet classification "
