I have a customer that is working with an Aruba 3400 controller and wants to setup/know what can be tracked/logged on the controller. The customer wants to know when someone (admin) logs on to the controller and also logs from the wireless activity. The customer would like some type of notification is something goes wrong on the controller and it can't reach a Radius server for example. How can this be setup.

I'm new to supporting the Aruba product line and am sorry if I have searched and missed a simple answer along the way. Thanks for any time and help from everyone.

    - To check what the admins did in the controller :

run the following command : show audit-trail

    - To troubleshoot wireless issues:

    here's a good troubleshooting cheat sheet: http://community.arubanetworks.com/aruba/attachments/aruba/campus-wlan-and-high-density-wi-fi/112/1/Troubleshooting%20Cheat%20Sheet-Aug2007.pdf

    - For radius, I would recommend that you have redundancy between to servers that way if one fails you don't have to worry about that

    - If you have Airwave you can setup the alerts you if a controller/APs fails :
