    /dev/mtdblock10          50.0M     46.7M      3.3M  93% /mnt/img1

    #show image ver

    Partition               : 0:1 (/dev/mtdblock10)

Is it possible to delete the old OS image in Partion1 and then ftp the new image to this partition?

    Thanks in advance

No, but according to the release notes, you can free up space by:

Remove all unnecessary saved files from flash by navigating to Maintenance > Delete Files
