Been asked how many of each AP Type we have, but cant actually find anywhere that tells me easily! Intone of the Access Point list views allow me to sort or search via type. Seems the only way I can think of is to export the list into excel and auto count the Type field. Im obviously missing something really obvious! Running AOS 6.3 and don't have airwave.

    Hi Friend,

It is very simple. use the following command,

show ap database | include <ap-type> or show ap active | include <ap-type>

Ex : show ap database | include 105

Please feel free if you are looking for something different.

I did suspect there would be a command for it! Thanks

...that just provides another list which I would then have to total.

Was hoping for somewhere that just said

    105's  -  xxx

    93  -  xxx

    115  -  xxx

    Excel it is then!
