How does manual containment of interfering AP's work?

I've begun looking over our RF environment and found numerous devices that are not authorized to be broadcasting.  Some users appear to be bringing mobile hotspots in to work, which are interfering with some of our other AP's on the 2.4GHz band.

 

I see one in particular under Dashboard -> Security -> Discovered Access Points which we would like to contain.  Four clients are connected to it, and if I click the Locate button, 7 of our AP's can see it broadcasting (one with an SNR of 58!).  

My question is: if I click on the SSID in question and then "Contain Manually", what happens?

It stops devices from associating to that access point.
