    Hi,

we're using a aruba3200 controller with just a few ap attached. I can see that the system detected several suspected rouge AP. How can i handle them. I found the "containment" option within the IDS section but what exactly will happen when the controller tries to contain the rouge AP's? Additionally can i add some kind of notification when the system detects a new rouge AP?

    Kind regards

Please start with the section here:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_63_Web_Help/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/New_WIP/Monitoring_Dashboard.htm

The controller can send an snmp trap or syslog message when it finds a rogue access point.

Can I do this (rouge AP containment) without RF Protect license?

    Daniel.
