Currently we have deployed two Aruba 3200XM controllers in a Master(Active) /Master(standby) setup with 12-AP licenses on each controller. Since the Centralized licensing is not enabled on 3200XM we are unable to use more than 12 AP's. If we enable it will have a total AP count of 24-AP's under Centralized licensing without using any additional AP licenses. Please tell us in this case we required any downtime to enable Centralized licensing on 3200XM & recommended Aruba OS which supports Centralized licensing feature.

6.3 and above support centralized licensing.

No downtime when you enable it.

Please tell if we need to migrate existing 12-AP licenses from master-standby to master-Active. So Master-active will have all 24 AP license in it....

You do not.  Just enabled centralized licensing and you should be fine.

When trying to enabling it gives following meesage.

Note: This config will be used only if this box is a master/backup license server
Master redundancy is configured. To configure License server redundancy, please disable the master redundancy

If that is a master controller you should be fine.

It started working as expected......However what happens if Active-Master goes down...Will Standby-Master will be serve all AP's under Master- Master Redundancy Scenario?

It should yes, assuming your LMS-IP is pointing at the Master VRRP and not the individual controller IPs.

The backup master will retain the licenses of its license server (the primary master) up to 30 days when that primary master/license server goes down.
