Is your AP-275 running 6.4 code?

Do you have LLDP enabled on the interface?

    Thanks,

Please take a look at the system logs (show log system 50) and see if there
    is any information there.

Use a 802.3at PoE adapter to power up your AP275 instead of connecting directly to the 620 PoE 802.3af port.

I faced similar issue before and it was resolved using the 802.3at PoE adapter. Looks like the 620 controller PoE port does not meet the PoE requirements of the AP275, under power.

The Aruba 620 Branch Office Controller is a compact, costeffective all-in-one networking solution. The 620 includes a firewall, wireless LAN controller, and nine-port Ethernet switch supporting four PoE+ ports.

this is from the datasheet that said that their is PoE+

Yes the description is correct but when u look into the Power Specifications field of the 620 controller datasheet , it is clearly stated "Power Over Ethernet capacity per port : 19.5 watts" which is only 802.3af PoE

If you look at the AP270 series datasheet, you will see that from the ordering information, the PoE midspan injector PD-9001GR-AC is clearly stated 30W.

Could you connect a serial console cable to the AP275 during boot up and see from the boot up log, do you get "insufficient power" ?

To summarize, the 620 is providing 802.3af PoE 19.5W and the AP275 need 802.3at 30W.

    Raymond.

    I agree with you folks,

I think that the issue is caused by the PoE ,

AP275 need a PoE+ source , and the Controlleur 620 and 650 provide only PoE power.

but normaly , it the serial CLI interface you get a message error that indicate "low power ....."

try to power you AP275 with PoE+ source.

    Regards

There are multiple posts on AirHeads about the 275 and POE. Most importatly note that 'POE+' and 802.3at are not the same thing, even though unfortunately they get lumped together more than they should, something all vendors are guilty of in some fashion.

POE+ and 802.3at have different voltage requirements at the PD and PSE. So in effect, a POE+ port isn't always going to power an 802.3at compliant device, but an 802.3at port will power both POE+ and 802.3at devices.

    HI,

When you have provisioned means initially it is terminated on the controller right ? if so, please check the profile errors, use " show profile-errors ", it will show profile errors if any.

Please share the output of "show ap database" if possible.

Please feel free for any further help on this.
