Either split the old APs onto a separate controller or replace the APs

Dear Tim kindly assisst ,if I got another controller and make it local and Upgrade it to 6.4.1 and terminate AP-103 on it and the Master will remain 6.3 so AP85 can work it will work fine or no? and also if I nee to move license from controller to another how many days needed for that?

You cannot have a master and local running different versions of code. The only thing you can do if you must run both APs is to stand up two separate controllers, one with 6.3 and the other with 6.4. You can put the same configuration on them, etc, manage them under AirWave, etc.

Centralized licensing should work between a 6.3 controller and 6.4. The license table is updated every 30 seconds.

    Hello Tim,

we have quite a similar situation at the moment, but only with AP-68 and AP-103.
Is AP-68 supported under ArubaOS 6.4.x.x?

Since i read in the Release Notes for i.e. 6.4.2.1 that it contains bugfixes regarding AP-68 and ArubaOS 6.3, i assume they are supported. Can you verify this?

AP-85 is not present in our network.

    Kind regards,

    Jan
