I pad and I Phones are getting slow browsing in Aruba wireless Network

    Dear All

     

    We are experiencing slow browsing on I Pad and I phones with aruba wirless. all the windows amchines are workign fine.

     

    Any body has any idea about it. How to resolve this issue.

    When did this start happening?

    What type of APs do you have

    Are you using encryption?

    How many access points?

    What model controller?

    its start at the time of deployment.

    What type of APs do you have

    AP105

    Are you using encryption?

    No encryption is using.

    How many access points?

    46

    What model controller

    3400

    How many wireless clients do you have on your network?

    Are the wireless clients in the same subnet as wired clients?

    Around 200 users are using the wirless network  and wireless clients subnet is different with wired client.

    Do you have "drop broadcast and multi cast" enabled on that virtual ap?

    hw to enable "drop broadcast and multi cast" in virtual AP. Is this a check option or we need to creat a profile and apply it.

    Go to configuration> Wireless> AP Configuraton.  Edit the ap-group that your access points are in.

     

    Expand Wireless Vlan> Expand Virtual AP.  Click on the Virtual AP that corresponds to your wireless network.  In the right pane you should see "Drop Broadcast and Multicast".  You also need to enable "Convert Broadcast ARP requests to unicast", as well.

     

    Click Apply in the lower right hand corner.

     

    See if that makes a difference.

     

    If it does, for best performance, you should enable this on all your Virtual APs in that AP group.
