I recently found an Aruba AP-225 at a garage sale. I was told they have to be "Authorized".

I recently found an Aruba AP-225 at a garage sale.  I was told they have to be "Authorized". by Aruba in order to work.  Is there anyway to get it to work without this registrtion/authorization process just for home use?

Nothing has to happen on Aruba's end. The AP-225, however, requires a
controller.
