I want to configure my controller 620 with internal network.

    Overview of my internal network:    My computer is connected to the switch through LAN cable , we have to assign the IP address (192.168.5.x , D/G 192.168.5.254) and DNS ( 203.82.48.3  203.82.48.4) statically, without statically assignment i am not be able to access the internet. Same scanerio for wireless users, when they will connect to the desired SSID, they should have to assign the IP address as well as DNS ( as mentioned above).

     

    NOW  I want to configure my controller with internal network.

     

    I have connected the switch to the controller port 8. On the controller i have created the Test Vlan having 192.168.5.0 network on it.

     

    Now i dont have any idea, what to do next ?

     

    Kindly help me in this regard.

    Please make sure you define the dns server and dhcp scope either on the controller or on your dhcp server.

    if controller is acting as default-gateway, what is the switch ip address ?

     

    Enable the "ip nat inside" on vlan 5 to src-nat the traffic through switch ip adress and see if we are able to pass internet.
