    i will buy Controller 3200 , and 25 AP-105

Thinking to buy them as IAP-105  not AP-105  , sothat i ncan convert what i need bto AP-105 ( softwrae re-image )  & have the ability to use Instant APs with out controller if needed

is this true ?  do i have any limitations is this idea  ?

& if So , why doesn't all use thsi method , instead of byuing AP-105 ?

IAP-105 will give both options   ( controller based & conytroller less )  with same cost ?

Some client really does it. :smileywink: and choose this option - it's giving them some flexibility in different deployments methods.

    BUT..

    • It will do the installation part a bit longer - because u should convert all your iAP to AP...One by one.
    • InstantAP have reset button - and those units can be rested to factory defaults = from CAP back to iAP..

That's it. All the rest is the same.  :smileyvery-happy:

Just a small tip: In order to convert instant to controller environment - just make sure your controller AOS version is supporting it.

(This should only work with ArubaOS 6.1 and above)

    Me.

Actually. You don't need to convert one by one. Just form them into a cluster and then you can convert them all with a few clicks.

So you can convert a bunch of IAPs into Campus APs in one shot ?
