    Hi all,

Are there any issues if I add IAP 205(5 qty) and IAP 93(8 qty) in a single cluster, with 205 as master. We will deploy IAP 93 on one floor and IAP 205 on  another floor. Just for single management console we want to bring them in one cluster.

     Please suggest. thanks in advance

    Hi Mohann,

I don't think so its possible. You should have the same model of IAP, if you wish to manage from a single console.

    Best Regards

Hi Sonu, Thanks and appreciate your response. But you can mix and match IAP models as long as their firmware version are same. And IAP 93 can be upgraded to 6.4 OS. Only want to know if any possible issue's..

Warning:  The IAP-93 cannot be in a cluster that has the newest 4.2.x.x firmware, because it does not run that version of software.  If you have an IAP-93 in a cluster, the cluster cannot have more than 16 IAPs in it.  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Unified-Wired-Wireless-Access/IAP-105-with-IAP-93/m-p/71312/highlight/true#M2419

The IAP-93 also does not support APPRF or mac authentication.

Also, be wary of the following limitations of the IAP-92/93 on 4.1.1.x (from the 4.1.1.x release notes):

You can mix model of IAPs in a cluster as long they are on the same code. Set one of the 205 as the master. Also, be aware that you are mixing n with ac so be mindful of channel bonding.
