    Hello Airheads,

We started using 13 instant access points recently on a branch location, the ap's are functioning perfectly and we wanted to extend the AP network with 2 additional IAP's. We accidentally ordered 2 AP-207 instead of IAP-207 and I wrote the location name on the boxes, so I am not able to return them to our reseller. We don't have a Aruba controller (only a HP MSM), and I think it would be too expensive to buy one for these 2 AP's.

Is there a way to join these 2 AP's to the vitual controller at this branch location or is there a way I can use these access points as standalone?

    Any help appreciated! :-)

Unfortunately not, the AP-207s are controller locked and require a controller.
