    Hello everyone,

I am facing an issue for few weeks :

    My IAP-228 are connected to a Aruba 2530 Non-POE and a HP 2520 POE, through a POE+ Injector

Sometimes after a reboot, the IAP-228 disabled their radios.

I found the following logs in show tech :

    "Power Supply                : POE-AF
    LLDP Power                  : 0.0W
Current Operational State   : Ethernet port 1 disabled; All radios disabled;"

I already had this issue, and the only workaround I found is to reboot the IAP until it boots correctly and then the LLDP negociated correctly (which it seems to be required for an 802.11af power).

The switches and IAPs are running last firmware image :

Pretty strange, espacially I have other IAP-228 on other Aruba/Procurve switches which are running fine without any problem.

    I already checked cables

Anyone is facing the same issue?

Is there any way to disable this negotiation process, or at least for not disabling radios?

Does anyone know a reliable workaround?

    Thanks

    Cheers!

    Jeremy

Might be a long shot but have you enabled MAS Integration on the IAP? Does this make a difference? I believe it enables extra TLV's for LLDP.

I didn't know this setting, I tested and it doesn't seem to work better.

    Anyway thanks for your reply

    Hi everyone,

I just upgraded from 6.5.3.0 to 6.5.4.2 and it seems to have fixed my issue... a little bit strange because I didn't find anything related to PoE or AP-228...
