Hello friends,

Can someone say if  is it a really bad experience to use only two external omni antennas at IAP-228 (it has six RPSMA connectors)?  

Or can I save some investiment using only two antennas instead of six? and keep a good performance ?

The AP-228 has discreet radio antennas (not dual-band like many other external antenna models), so just using 2 omni-directional antennas will either reduce the radio performance to a 1x1:1 on both bands, or will eliminate one band and provide 2x2:2 on the other. Regardless, performance will be less than if all antennas where connected/used.

If you leave antenna ports disconnected, remember to add terminators on the unused ports.

Terminators are not included with the AP, as all antenna connections are expected to be used.

* Probably we have to find those termitors in the market, right? As we don`t have it in the Aruba portifolio.

Yes, that's correct.

Four of the six antennas, wouldn't help much right?

Four would be better, yes.
