IAP's - checking logs

Hello all,

IAP 205 are being used as virtual controller with a bunch of other 205's added for user coverage in one of our office.

The users face disconnection at times & when this happens, almost 80% of them get disconnected. They get reconnected after a while though.

Which log type should be checked to find a possible hint to this issue, considering most of the users encounter this.

Thanks in advance.

Re: IAP's - checking logs

If the disconnect problem is shared, check to make sure you have broadcast filtering enabled on all of your SSIDs.  A single sustained broadcast can knock all users off the network.  Also check to make sure your dhcp server is not giving out the default gateway in the scope.

If the disconnects were isolated, that means it could be an RF issue isolated to a channel or specific AP.
