A client using a 6.4.x OnGuard Client will continue to run without an issue against a ClearPass 6.5.x. However if you create new 6.5.x OnGuard policies, that is when you run into trouble for the 6.4.x OnGuard clients.

Users will only be prompted if that setting is turned on. We just upgraded from 6.4.3 to 6.5.1 and all of the 6.4.3 clients are still working fine
