    Hello,

I`ve configured my stand alone IAP-275 using the WebUi pretty much with basic setup, i`ve created a SSID 5G that my camera connects to, to transfer the images to my computer via FTP, the max transfer speed of my wireless transmitter is 433.3Mbps over 80211-AC on channel 36 with client match selected, prefered connection is 5G.

My question is, are there anymore more settings that I can choose to have a consistant thorough put of 433.3Mbps? its pretty fast, i like it, but I would like to see if there are anymore options that I can tweak in the virtual controller, please let me know.

Do you have broadcast filtering enabled on that SSID?

That is probably the best thing you can do to improve performance.

The performace is pretty good so far on 80211-AC. I running a few test on transferring large files i recorded 1 minute 4K video at 60frames-sec file size 6GB, it took 19mins to transfer at 351-433.3Mbps a sec, however I`ll be shooting images about 23-30MGs each it`s much faster than just send one large file considering its only one spatial stream.

How far away are you from the access point?

What type of client is this?

    Are you using encryption?

How far away are you from the access point?

at this point in my home test about 40ft, if yo go outside about 200ft or great data transfer isnt fast about 150-275 range as for images.

What type of client is this?

Canon 1DX Mark II Camera, Canon wireless transmitter WFT-E8A

    Are you using encryption?

I`m not sure how do I check?

The further away you get, the worse performance will get, of course.

Inside should have better performance than outdoors because of contention.

    That looks like good performance.

Considering, I`m a motorsport photograher i wanted to use it in the field alteast 200ft away.

also, its not elavated I`m working on finding a telescopic Mast to mount it on raise up about 20ft would that be sufficient?

You are probably limited by the capabilities of the device that is connecting to that access point.  If it is a camera, where the specs are limited, you will be limited by the antenna design of the wifi connection of that camera...  The AP-275 might not be able to "hear" your camera better no matter how high it is mounted...
