    Hello all,

Coordinated Access to A Single Channel is used to configure all AP's with the same channel. I suppose that I need to disable ARM and use all AP's with a certain channel. If I select channel 1 and if I got an interferecen on that channel, than I have a problem, right? So why o use this option? If I use 5 AP's with the same channel: I dont get less airime for other clients?

    Thanks

What is coordinated access to a single channel?

Allows nearby APs on the same channel to share spectrum. Or I am wrong?

Is this mentioned in Aruba documentation?

That document is from 2010.  I would only look on the Aruba website for up-to-date information.

Please see the document here:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/assets/tg/TB_EnhancedClientMatch.pdf

That is because it does not exist today
It is not a feature today.

OK, so ARUBA doesnt recommend this option anymore. You could tell me this at the beginning and to write several posts :)

    I apologize.

    I had to:

    - Find out  what you were talking about

    - Find out where it is documented

    - Make sure that is no longer a feature

    EDIT:

In 2010 coordinated access to a channel was important because many devices only did b/g and there was limited channel space.  Today there is 5ghz 802.11ac with many more channels and much improved performance, so that feature is not needed like it was in 2010.
