    Hi,

    I have an iphone 5 user on campus constantly complaining about switching of her iphone from wifi to 3g. There is no apparent issue as other users are connecting normally with wifi in that area.

     

    There is one thing I noticed with this particular user while monitoring session that her HOTSPOT option is probably enabled as it was showing in monitoring of the device. Coudl enabling HOTSPOT and bluetooth can cause the user to switch frequently from WiFi to 3G?

     

    ANy other usggestions to troubleshoot the issue? WOuld appreciate !!!

    Do you have any other iPhone 5 users with the same problem?

    Other users are in different areas but this particular user experiences this problem frequently in her office. There is an AP 125 right outside the room. Is there any known issue with enabling HOTSPOT? I will ask to disable it! Will see what happens.

    I personally don't know.  But it does not help to have hotspot on!
